We'd like to replace the original blog entry that was here with a statement that's more representative of who we are as an organization, and as individual team members. 

Maine Ghost Hunters would like to put our appreciation, and gratitude, in writing to those of you who have been supporting us, either on the sidelines, behind the scenes, or straight out there in the public eye.  We've been blessed to have you in our lives and feel fortunate to consider each of you as a "friend".  Thank you so very much for being there in action, with words, or simply in spirit - through our good times, our rough times, and our fantastically amazing times - you are an essential component that is the life-blood of why we try so hard to be the best we can possibly be.  We thank you for taking the time to understand us, our mission, and our reason for being.  You are wonderful, and we need you to know that.

Henryton Sanitarium Mini-Doc Daytime A-1

#1 of Mini-Doc 1st Day Time Investigation

Maine Ghost Hunters investigates an abandoned hospital somewhere in the U.S. with teams from across the country in a group effort to capture evidence of paranormal activity on the grounds. Video A-1 shows everyone what the very start of our investigation time looked like. This first building we were in was what the investigation leads decided to call our "home base". We had to walk through the whole building to get to the back porch, where someone was standing guard over any equipment left there during investigation times. On the way out of the building one of the group psychics mentions "slimy ice" and tells us that the spirits are present in our "home base" building.

In video A-2 our group arrives in the basement level of one of the buildings we investigate. Our group psychic experiences paranormal activity almost immediately. Take note - at 3:04 Kat and Jaime both acknowledge they heard something, and within a few seconds the other team radios over to us with an observation.

 2 investigators hear something at 3:00 and comment on it. Within seconds the other group, in another building quite a distance away, radio in a peculiar observation.

Video A-3 is roughly 8 minutes of a typical investigation. There is extremely little of this 8 minute clip that has been cut out, so you're seeing a very life-like version of what it's like to be involved, first-hand, in a paranormal investigation. Portions of video that may have been cut out are: when the camera was focused on the floor, or was bobbling around, or when someone swore or said something personally identifying that we do not want available to the public at large. Otherwise, this is all unedited footage.

There are a couple of investigators who are sure they are experiencing the presence of unseen beings, while others make no claim at all, or claim to be having no experiences whatsoever.
